8-Day Lemosho Route Itinerary
The 8-Day Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic, less crowded, and highly successful routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Beginning on the western side of the mountain, this route offers breathtaking landscapes—from lush rainforest and expansive moorlands to alpine desert and glacial summit views.
Designed for optimal acclimatization, the 8-day itinerary follows the “climb high, sleep low” principle, significantly increasing summit success rates while allowing trekkers to adapt gradually to altitude. The longer duration makes it ideal for climbers seeking a safer, more comfortable ascent with stunning panoramic scenery throughout the journey.
This route combines adventure, wilderness, and achievement—culminating at Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa and one of the Seven Summits of the world.
